29 August 2015: Citizen Securities and Investment Limited (CSIL) has signed an agreement with SILCO Pharmaceuticals Limited to raise capital through Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Thursday, 29 August. Citizen Securities and Investment Limited (CSIL) will act as ‘Manager to the Issue’ in this regard.

Mr. Tahid Ahmed Chowdhury, ACCA, Managing Director & CEO, CSIL & Dr. Md. Badrul Haque Rukan, Managing Director, SILCO Pharmaceuticals Limited, signed the contract on behalf of their respective companies. Mr. Mafiz Ahmed Bhuiyan, Chairman, CSIL as well as other Directors of CSIL and Dr. Masuqur Rahman Chowdhury, Director, SILCO, Dr. Shafiul Azam, Director, SILCO, Dr. Sayed Borhan Uddin, Director, SILCO were present on the occasion.

Through issuing 20,000,000 shares the company will raise total of Tk. 200,000,000.00 from public. The fund will be used for payment of long term debt, purchase of new machinery and business expansion.
